Artist Statement
Painting is the opportunity to capture and interpret experiences (people, landscapes, objects, colors) that move me, and to communicate both the experiences and the emotions they evoke. The process of painting (and often the process of viewing the paintings of others) is deeply absorbing, a privilege and a miracle.
