For me, art is a process rather than a product. The finished painting is only a physical manifestation of the actual work of art. It is the process of creating the painting and its evolution that are important, as well as, the exploration of color and light that interests me. My approach is calligraphic. Strokes and lines create movement, form, and reflections. The inspiration for my work springs from many sources, but the essential elements are within myself.
