Gary Tucker started painting with life long mentor and artist, Anita Fahs. She introduced oil painting, the impressionists, and the value of working from life. Soon after, Gary decided to make art his life path.

Collage is a particular technique that gets us to loosen up. It is perfect for beginners jumping in and also ideal for established artists needing new ideas. In my classes I focus on getting people so busy making art that they forget to get worried about it.

For Katherine Miller, painting is the most intuitive and effective form of communication. She believes that beauty lies in minimal complexity. She creates freedom within structure. Everything about nature and the landscape inspires Miller's imagery.
