Having been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1995, and having undergone several disease-related surgeries, holding a paintbrush, palette knife or pastel stick in my hand transformes me into an intensely-focused problem solver. I am challenged to convey three dimensions onto a two dimensional surface. While this is a powerful objective, it is also the best medicine for combatting daily pain.”
