PETER SCHWARTZ

Primal, raw, transformative, and always exploring the unknown, often with bright hopeful colors, Schwartz’s work is for anybody who wants the world to be a little more magic. As far as his history, he has studied and practiced many forms of art including poetry, fiction, photography, sculpture, music, acting, comedy, dancing and digital painting. It was on a computer that he practiced painting for years, publishing many of his works in a huge amount of literary journals and websites. He became art editor for a few of those sites and printed some of his bigger pieces for a few gallery shows including his premier at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in Chelsea, NYC. It is of note that Schwartz considers moving from the modern-but-cold method of using a Paint program to the hands-on visceral experience of using oil pastels to be the great discovery and rebirth of his life.
