We will begin with an assessment of my reference photo and then move on to color mixing and critiquing the palette followed by brush technique\, laying the paint in on top of the dark ground. Over the two hours\, the composition will coalesces while we discuss color\, edge\, shape\, and directionality\, content\, and mood. \nChristie Scheele began painting her atmospheric\, minimalist landscapes just before moving to the Catskills from New York City in 1990. She is an exhibiting artist of over forty years in multiple galleries nationwide.
