SUMMARY:NAA Critique Gathering
DESCRIPTION:We are holding two zoom critique meetings this spring and would love for you to join us for an afternoon of fun and inspiration. Each participant uploads one or two works of art either complete or in process. Each participant uploads one or two works of art\, add: (2 or 3 dimensional). If you need assistance with uploading\, please let us know. \nWe limit the groups to twelve people and the feedback we receive is both supportive and constructive. It’s a lovely time to renew relationships and get to know other members through their work. \nLinks to both the zoom meeting and dropbox will be emailed to you a couple of days prior to the meeting. \nPlease email Myra Abelson to be added to the guest list.\n\nmsmyralee@verizon.net

SUMMARY:Demo with Betsy Silverman | Collage
DESCRIPTION:ZOOM LINK:\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/89460307355?pwd=Y2htUCtheDJja0RIUHB2RXdGYTIrQT09 \nMeeting ID: 894 6030 7355\nPasscode: 989057 \nCollage artist Betsy Silverman works in a style she calls Fragmented Realism. Her primary materials are discarded magazines. She selects\, cuts\, and glues old images and text to create multidimensional portraits\, still lifes\, cityscapes\, and representations of New England – especially the Boston area. She delights in the challenge of fashioning a new image while preserving bits of the former representations including their individual memories and histories. Betsy chooses each recycled paper remnant for its hue\, value\, saturation\, image content\, and textual relationship to the subjects of her work. \nA graduate of Cornell University\, Betsy holds a master of architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work reflects an architectural sensibility employing perspective\, light and shadow\, reflections\, and scale. Learn more on Silverman’s website or on Instagram @betsysilvermancollage. \n  \nBoston Coffee\, 30 x 40 in.\n  \n  \n  \nBoston Moves\, 36 x 48 in.
