DESCRIPTION:Kathy Anderson is known for her beautiful garden landscapes and intimate glimpses of nature.  She has the ability to see and translate the colors of the natural world to canvas with sensitivity that few possess.   Kathy promises a demo using materials from her garden that will be available. She will speak about how she chooses her subject matter\, demonstrate the importance of a good block-in and provide random information as she paints. \nShe is a Master Signature Member of Oil Painters of America\, Allied Artists\, in the permanent collection of National Arts Club among many affiliations. \nHer Most Recent Awards (2021-2019) include a Gold Medal Award\, Maters Division\, Oil Painters of America National Salon Show\, Best Floral\, Plein Air Salon Magazine\, Best in Show\, Art in Bloom and several from the Salmagundi Club. \nArticles about her and her work are published in many national and international magazines. She is represented by Susan Powell Fine Art in CT\, Legacy Gallery\, AZ and WY\, Tree’s Place in Orleans\, MA to name a few. \nPlease join us on Thursday\, November 18 from 7-9 pm.
