Welcome to the 2024 James King Bonnar Exhibition, our most popular event of the year. This is a non-juried show open to all members in good standing. This year’s Juror is Ruth Scotch from the Danforth Museum. Ruth has M.F.A. and B.F.A. in painting from Boston University and has taught at BU and Montserrat College of Art and has exhibited widely throughout New England.
Reception and Awards Ceremony: Sunday, March 17, 2:00-4:00pm
IMPORTANT DATES
- Call for art: January 8 – 29
- Exhibit dates: March 3 – April 30
- Drop-off of art: Sunday, March 3, 1:00-2:30pm
- Pick-up of art: Tuesday, April 30, 9:00-11:00am
ELIGIBILITY
- This is not a juried entry show and is open to all Newton Art Association members in good standing. Limited to 60 entries.
- 2-D artwork. Also, 3-D artwork that can fit in a 4.5-inch deep glass enclosed bookcase.
- Applications will be accepted online only.

ABOUT THE JUROR
Ruth Scotch is a faculty member at the Danforth Art Museum and Framingham State University, and has taught at BU and Montserrat College of Art. She received her M.F.A. and B.F.A. in painting from Boston University, and exhibits her paintings throughout New England
