Professional Zoom Workshop: January 27, 7:00 p.m.

A Los Angeles-based consultant for artists and arts organizations, Beth Pickens, will lead the NAA’s January 27 professional development workshop. She is the author of Make Your Art No Matter What: Moving Beyond Creative Hurdles (2021, Chronicle Books) and Your Art Will Save Your Life (2018, Feminist Press).

Pickens has devoted her career to helping artists move in the direction of their creative ambitions. She provides career consultation, grant writing, fundraising, and financial, project, and strategic planning services. She teaches entrepreneurship at the California Institute of the Arts School of Theater and workshops at universities, companies, and art spaces nationwide. Learn more on her website.
