NAA Annual Awards Show Online

Welcome to the 2020 NAA Annual Awards Show Online

Because the Newton Free Library is not yet open to the public, the Annual Awards Show will be offered online beginning September 6. We do hope you will participate in this year’s opening reception and awards ceremony. Just look for an NAA email this week that will include a link to the Zoom presentation on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s award judges come to us from 13FOREST Gallery in Arlington, MA.

Marc Gurton, owner, is satisfying his longtime passion for visual art. In 2006, he opened 13FOREST Gallery with husband, Jim Kiely, in the hopes of creating a space that would demystify the art-buying process. Marc has spent the past decade tracking new talent and fostering an appreciation of local arts among his clients.

Caitee Hoglund joined 13FOREST Gallery as the Director in 2017, where she has been curating a dynamic program of exhibitions and events with a wide variety of Boston’s finest artists. Hoglund has also served as a juror for several local arts institutions, including the Attleboro Arts Museum, Mosesian Center for the Arts, and the Cambridge Art Association. Before her time at 13FOREST, Hoglund earned her Master’s Degree in Art History and Museum Studies from Tufts University.
See you on September 9, at 7 p.m.!
Best,
