CALL FOR ART: Rhythm of Life
Life moves to countless rhythms from the pulse of music, the energy of a bustling city, the changing seasons, the movement of people and animals, and the patterns that surround us every day.
The Newton Art Association invites artists to explore the theme Rhythm of Life through expressions of movement, energy, music, repetition, and pattern. Whether bold and dynamic or subtle and meditative, rhythm can be found in both the natural and human-made world.
Artists may interpret the theme through visual representations of motion, dance, sound, growth, cycles, texture, design, or the repeating patterns that shape our lives. From vibrant expressions of activity to quiet moments of flow and harmony, this exhibit celebrates the forces that bring movement and meaning to our world.
Artists working in all media are encouraged to submit work inspired by this theme.
