DEMO: Fay Senner – Making the Ordinary Extraordinary – An Artistic Journey with Pressed Vegetables
Fay Senner is a mixed-media artist. She explores the mysteries of the visible and invisible worlds in nature, memory, and the cosmos. Through her work with photography, collage, encaustic, and assemblage, she creates unique artworks often using found or repurposed objects. Her pieces have been exhibited throughout New England, including the Danforth and Fitchburg Art Museums.
With over 30 years in commercial printing through her consulting firm, Passion Print, Fay brings technical expertise to her art. She layers and prints on various surfaces like aluminum, tile and fabric. Notably, she created a series titled, The Art & Alchemy of Fruits & Vegetables inspired by her grandmother’s pressed seaweed collection using pressed fruits and vegetables.
